Allen Roswell Pickett

Allen Roswell Pickett was born on April 28, 1918 in Sheboygan, WI to parents Roswell Covert and Margaret Regina Nehrlich.  As per the 1930 U.S. Census, the family lived in Winfield, DuPage County, IL.  As per the 1940 U.S. Census, the family lived in La Grange, Cook County, IL.  He enlisted in the U.S. Army on November 21, 1942 and was released from service on December 11, 1943.  No further information is available on his service.

He married Lorraine Dorothy Usack on May 11, 1948 in Cook County, IL.  In the 1980s, they lived in New Carrollton, MD.  He played a number of musical instruments and taught music at the University of Maryland.  He died on May 16, 1990 in Maryland (city unknown).
