Steven Thomas Adams

Steven Thomas Adams was born on December 11, 1927 in New York, NY to parents Thomas and Sophie Mitsou.  He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on December 4, 1943 in Syracuse, NY.  On June 28, 1944, he mustered onto the USS Ranger (CV-4, Forrestal-class supercarrier) as a Fireman 1st Class V6 (General Service and Specialists).  On September 15, 1944, he mustered onto the USS Shangri-La (CV-38, as Essex-class aircraft carrier) as an Electrician's Mate 3rd Class (T).  On February 7, 1945, he is listed as a Fireman 1st Class (EM) on the USS Shangri-La.  There is no further information on his service.

He was married to Evangeline (maiden name unknown) with one daughter and one son.  No other information available on his post-war life.  He died on November 11, 2005 in Greenwich, CT.
