Ralcey A. Miller was born in 1829.  He enlisted in Greenwich, CT on October 16, 1861 in Company "I" the 110th Connecticut Infantry Regiment, for a three-year period. Comapny "I" was composed primarily of Fairfield County men.  Private Miller was discharged and reenlisted in the Veterans' Corps on January 1, 1864.  He died on September 13, 1864.

Tomstone first name spelled "Ralcey" but records say "Raleey". 8555 on WPA locaIions, West Drive, (now Finch Dr) Read Plot 208. On Richard Lander's list, but not on Ancestry.com: 1861-5.  Information on Private Miller was found via internet search of the 10th Connecticut Infantry on the Connecticut data base.  An "R. A. Miller" was born 1829 and was a merchant, and single, living in Stamford, CT as per the 1860 Veterans' census.  Also, a "Riley" Miller lived in Greenwich, CT.
