Donald Clark Brundage was born on May 7, 1918 in North Castle, NY to parents James Chester and Mabel A. Hunter Brundage.  As per the 1940 U.S. Census, the family was still living in North Castle and he was working as a stock clerk.  He enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 1, 1941 in Jamaica, NY as a Private.  He was stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii when it was attacked on December 7, 1941.  He was promoted to Technical Sergeant (date unknown).  He was released from service on October 3, 1945.  No further information is available on his service.

He lived in Portchester from 1946-91.  He worked in the hardward business for nearly 50 years, starting his career at DK Allen in Greenwich, CT and from 1952-1988 at Frank L. Rocky Hardware in Port Chester, NY.  He married Jean Burns on October 26, 1946 in Portchester; they had a son, Richard.  Sgt. Brundage was actively involved with the Portchester Boy Scouts and enjoyed photography and cars.  He died on August 12, 2000 in New Rochelle, NY.
